Part 61 Flight Training

Fly on your schedule and at your own pace with us. We offer the same high-quality flight training as major colleges and Part 141 programs but at a fraction of the cost and time.

​

Our training operates under FAA Part 61 regulations, allowing us to provide a more flexible approach tailored to your unique needs. This flexibility in scheduling and personalized instruction surpasses what’s typically available in Part 141 or university programs. Join us to experience exceptional flight training that fits seamlessly into your life.

DISCOVERY FLIGHT

This gets you a hands on experience in the aircraft and time with a Flight Instructor to learn what the process of becoming a pilot entails.  Length: Roughly 30 mins in the aircraft and 1 hour total with Instructor.  This flight can be logged towards your training requirements!

2 seat airplane (Diamond DA20): $140

4 seat airplane (Diamond DA40): $180

*A Discover Flight in our DA40 can accommodate up to two adults.

Sam Trapnell

Sam completed his flight training in just 15 months. Now, as a flight instructor, he has earned the Federal Aviation Administration’s “Gold Seal CFI” designation. A special recognition for meeting a high standard of performance. This coveted recognition signifies his extensive experience and a high first-time pass rate among students.

With two years as a Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), Bridger has cultivated a deep passion for teaching. He finds immense joy in helping aspiring pilots achieve their aviation dreams and guiding them through their training.

When he's not guiding students through their flight training, you'll find him soaring through Utah's rugged backcountry in his Super Cub.  Josh also instructs in tailwheel aircraft at Full Deflection, also at KSPK.

Tayler Cannon

Tayler began her flying journey in 2021, and has never looked back. Flying is her true passion. She’s eager to share that enthusiasm with others through teaching. Originally from Ames, Iowa, she enjoys a variety of activities in her non-flying time; including sports, music, hiking, boating, and spending quality time with friends and family.

In this role, he supervises all instructional activities at the school, ensuring the highest standards of training.  His background in corporate training makes him a top-tier flight instructor.

Nate, a co-founder of Centerline, balances his role by also serving as a corporate pilot flying Turboprop aircraft and Citation Jets when not actively involved in managing Centerline. He has a deep passion for aviation and enthusiasm for teaching. He is never happier then when in the air and seeing the Centerline team succeed.

Cole, co-founder of Centerline Aviation, is also a pilot for SkyWest Airlines based in Salt Lake City (SLC). Despite his demanding schedule, he remains dedicated to instructing and actively contributes to the training of aspiring pilots at Centerline.

Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) at Centerline instruct as a way to build flight hours while giving back to the aviation community. Centerline exclusively hires top-tier instructors who frequently advance to impressive careers. The following are emeritus instructors who have moved on to significant achievements in their fields. Nevertheless, you might still spot them around the hangar, conducting end of course checks, offering mentorship, and supporting the school's mission of training the next generation of exceptional pilots.
