Part 61 Flight Training
Fly on your own timeline, and at your own pace. Receive the same professional flight training as major colleges and Part 141 programs, but at a more realistic cost in a fraction of the time.

We are training under the FAA Part 61 regulations. This simply means we are flexible in scheduling, time frame, and individual clients needs more so than a Part 141 or University Program.

DISCOVERY FLIGHT
This gets you a hands on experience in the aircraft and time with a Flight Instructor to learn what the process of becoming a pilot entails. Length: Roughly 30 mins in the aircraft and 1 hour total with Instructor. This flight can be logged towards your training requirements!

Pricing

Private Pilot
Based on what we see on average it's $9-$10K for a Private Pilot Certificate.
​
FAA minimums require 40 hours flight time. The estimate above reflects a more realistic 45-50 hours.

The knowledge base (ground school) can be completed via online course and/or by a one on one approach with your Instructor.

ABOUT US

Centerline Aviation is a new flight school at the Spanish Fork Airport. Our team is very passionate about aviation and assisting others in learning the process to becoming a professional or hobby pilot. We take safety & precise operation (such as holding the runway centerline!) of the aircraft very seriously.

Meet Our Instructors

Colby Wells
CFI, CFII
Colby is a UVU graduate. He gained many hours of experience instructing in many types of aircraft and flying in his own personal Piper Cherokee. He's a 2 year CFI. Colby has a tailwheel endorsement and loves stick and rudder flying. His primary job is as a full time flight instructor here at Centerline Aviation.

Robby Adair
CFI
Robby is also a Utah Valley Universtity Graduate. Robby is a go getter! He brings a positive exiting training enviorment. He enjoys the outdoors and fly fishing on his down time.
Robby is a full time flight instructor at Centerline Aviation.

Nicholas Smout
CFI, CFII
Nicholas did his training in Scottdale, AZ. With a philosophy degree at BYU he has a very in-depth knowledge that allows for a great training experience.
Nicholas is a full time Flight instructor at Centerline Aviation.

Landon Roberts
Check Instructor
CFI, CFII, MEI
Landon did his initial pilot ratings out of Florida with ATP flight school. Since then he has instructed at Centerline Aviation as a check instructor and often flies an Epic E1000 out of Spanish Fork.

Ryan Gomer
Chief Instructor
CFI, CFII
Ryan received his ratings from Utah Valley University in Provo, UT. He currently flies full time at Centerline Aviation as Chief Flight Instructor.
Ryan works to standardize procedures and set the example for all instructors, students and renters.

Nate Harris
ATP, CFI
Nate is a co-founder of Centerline. He does Corporate flying and is a 2 year CFI. Passionate about aviation and enthusiastic about teaching, he brings a unique mindset to our team.

Cole Barton
ATP, CFI, CFII
Cole is also a
co-founder of Centerline Aviation.
He currently flys for Skywest Airlines based in SLC.
He has a very unique adventure based level of experience. His main hobbies are motocross and snowmobiling, which motor skills transfer into a fun training environment.

Bracken Mecham
Dispatcher
CFI, CFII
Bracken isn't new to aviation. He has a background in aviation that comes from his time as an FBO line agent and degree from UVU.
He has worked extensively on Centerline's procedures and even produced our most recent syllabus. He's also a pilot on King Air and Citation aircraft for a local medevac company.

Cole Olivares
Check Instructor
CFI, CFII, MEI
Cole's background in corporate flying gives him a well rounded approach to flight training. Cole is a very experienced MEI. He flys King Airs and a Citation jet for a living.
